Nokia launched Lumia Windows Phones in India last month at a press event in New Delhi. While, Nokia, and Microsoft, talked about the device and Nokia’s marketing and sales roadmap, Nokia strangely did not announce the prices. [My live blog coverage] [Photos]

Last week, Nokia has also Lumia-fied their Nokia Priority Partner stores. The stores have Lumia branding all over, and have Nokia Lumia 800 devices for showcase while the trained sales representatives are eager to give you a comprehensive demo.
You can pre-order Nokia Lumia 800 at the stores, online or via SMS. The pre-orders are not available for Lumia 710 and there is no word on the same. There still is no official word on pricing as yet.
- SMS Lumia to 55555.
- Fill a form with details at http://www.getnokia.in/800/ and you will receive a booking ID over email.
You can also participate in a Facebook contest by Nokia (global, not by Nokia India) and stand a chance to win Nokia Lumia devices. Add nine of your Facebook friends to ‘People Hub’ and you’re in.
While several Windows Phone enthusiasts in India are looking forward to Lumia as an alternative to HTC Radar, there is a huge Nokia loyalist customer base that would make purchase decision based on their long-standing trust with Nokia devices, irrespective of the platform.
